2016 in Review: What are the Recent Highlight Projects of Create Talents?

The end of the year is here! You know what that means; don’t you? It is now the season of joy, giving, and reflection. We want to recap you with some of our best projects over the course of 2016. We delight in all the projects that Create Talents and Models has successfully accomplished over the year and so that all of us who are part of this great agency may head into the New Year with a greater sense of passion, pride, and style.

Orchard Gateway Bridal Fashion Show

Early in the year, from March to June 2016, stunning Bridal Fashion show took place at Orchard Gateway which left the audience (especially women awaiting their big day) at awe. It was held over a course of 7 series and our models Ula L, Nazli G, Randi B and Kirsten P had to pose for photo shoots and perform runway modeling with their magnificent gowns. Trust us, it was tough to get all of them dressed and ready to model with perfection, nevertheless our female models didn’t disappoint and had put on their A game. Bridal modeling has its challenges, yet it always turns out to be exciting and a treat for the eyes.

HPB Shoot

The Health Promotion Board print advertisement is one of our cherished Government sector projects which featured male model Zali B. It was an F.I.G.H.T campaign which was meant to educate the public on the ways to protect against Flu and other infectious diseases. The advertisement had become very popularly spread island wide.  We were certainly excited to see Zali all over the nation on posters on buses, taxis, and billboards.

Front Row Runway Festival at The Shoppes at MBS

A prestigious event which featured our Create Talents Model, RK10 K, is the ‘Front Row’ Runway Festival held at Marina Bay Sands. It was a celebration of fashion weeks from the four fashion capitals around the world Milan, Paris, London and New York. RK10K represented Uomo Collezioni’s Canali brand and strode the runway with a day and nightwear suit. The event had featured an array of grand designer brands such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Burberry, Coach, and Versace, amongst which was the equally prestigious Canali. RK10K was an absolute dapper and made a strong statement about the Canali brand which is re-launching in Singapore.

Asian Tour

A whopping ten of our kid models took part in this single project which was meant to advertise the Asian Tour. The Asian Tour, in a nutshell, stages multiple tournaments throughout Asia and aims to develop professional golf throughout Asia. The kid models involved were Carmen G, Charlie T, Esther P, Jayden-G, Kenji P, Matt Jaemond, Maurice H, Shawn P, Rahul, and Rishab. It is our pleasure to see such young, bright talents excelling in the modeling field, and finding confidence in their own body and skin. Kudos to the young lads, and we hope to work more with our kid models who are full of life.

Jetstar Asia
The first project by Jetstar Asia entitled #FridayFREEFlights was a fun and quirky project in which our models Angela P and Han S had to model for basically our generation’s favorite past time- ‘taking selfies’. A short video was released on every Tuesday of the month of October, where the public could take part through following the theme and instructions given for the week as exemplified through our models and upload their selfie on respective Fridays on any social media account. The four creative themes were ‘Lovey Dovey Passport Selfie’, ‘Goofy Passport Selfie’, ‘Photobomb Passport Selfie’ and ‘Face Swap Passport Selfie’.

The second was a print advertisement featuring out model Candy N being part of a group selfie advertising Jetstar. We are on the whole, honored to have worked with one of Singapore’s aviation giants, and we look forward to collaborating on more future projects.

Mediacorp

Mediacorp has always been our prestigious client where many talents from our agency get the opportunity to cast and act. This year, we did a heartwarming Father’s day TV commercial project which featured 6 of our models, Jan D, Ali Khan, Teck Lee, Alexa P, Viran D, and Mukesh K. The advertisement tugged at the heart strings and made everyone think about the love and importance of fathers. It was broadcasted on Mediacorp Channel 5 together with the hashtag #CelebratingFathersSG which sparked meaningful conversation on social media.

Another Mediacorp Channel 5 project we concluded successfully this year was the ‘Cash Struck’ video shoot with our senior model, Moey Y. This was a spoof of the PPAP (Pen pineapple Apple Pen) song which went viral online. We thank Mediacorp for the opportunity to allow Create Talents for giving our models the experience to be part of a significant mainstream media channel in Singapore.

That’s not all! We also had some awesome Print Advertisements to add to the souvenir collection.

Other than the Jetstar Asia and HPB print advertisements shoots we also had our models featuring for other companies. They include Keks K for POSB, Nia S for Bata, Shayan K for M1 & C3A 2016 Shoot, Joshua N and Ryan C for Mount Faber Peak, Anneliese W for AIA group photoshoot, Han S & Bonnie Y for FairPrice Shoot, and Jane J for P&G (Procter & Gamble) print advertisements.

In a Nutshell

Create Talents and Models has come far over the course of the year and worked for plenty of clients apart from those listed above. Some of which are, SG Secure, Singtel, Starhub, Samsung, IDA, Skin Inc, Bata, Maggi, Chandon, Dutch Lady & Disney, Klook, Guinness, Golden Scissors Awards events and many projects.

None of these successes would be possible without the people hard at work behind the scenes. The scouters work hard, rain or shine, to search and recruit promising new talents; our bookers diligently source for good job opportunities for our models, our customer service front line patiently deals with large numbers of clients and models every single day, and our photographers do an excellent job at getting the best quality of visuals possible. Thank you to everyone who has made this agency kicking and running. This is only the beginning of many more successes to come in a brand new year. 2017, here we come!

How to get Scouted by a Model Agency?

There is more than a single way to enter into a Singapore modeling agency, and being scouted is one way. This may come off as a surprise but being scouted doesn't necessarily mean you need to have a tall height, slender figure or skin color requirements; instead agencies look for your personality and a physical appearance that suits the masses. Taking this into account, we reveal some insider tricks into getting scouted.

Social Media

You might have already guessed it, Instagram! Of course, there are many platforms but when it comes to fashion and lifestyle, but it's hard to beat the simple yet elegant way Instagram can market your abilities. Be up to date with latest fashion trend hashtags such as #fashionweekend #beautyblogger #outfitoftheday and plenty of others to get spotted by Scouters online.

With that said, don't create a modeling account and upload professional photos. Scouters of talent want to see photos that you post casually and they want to know how you look naturally. Post your lifestyle trendily, and use your caption to state quality opinions. This will mark you out above the rest as the best.

Be Natural

Almost everyone, let alone modeling agencies, will be able to know if you use excessive make-up or wear too much jewelry to elevate your appearance. Be modest with your make up and be simple wherever possible. Your authentic features should resonate more. This involves proper beauty care, eating healthily, drinking enough water, getting adequate sleep and lowering your body stress levels. Check out this ultimate modeling guide

Go to the Big Shows and Have a Vibrant Personality

Scouters are hard at work at major cultural and fashion festivals. This is because they know these shows attract much youth suitable for a modeling career. Be on your A game, and most importantly have fun, network and socialize with as many people as you can.

Do your Research

Dress simply, and be involved in the town and city life every so often. Who knows you might get scouted and given an incredible opportunity.

If you do happen to get scouted, take their name card and read up on the agency's reviews and testimonials. Any credible Singapore modeling agency would have a good online and social media presence that appeals to models and various clients. Check their credibility and ensure that their modeling job types suit your style.

In that vein, contact modeling agencies yourself and go down for an interview. Even if you are completely new to the industry, a professional Singapore modeling agency will assist in creating a standard portfolio for you. At the least, ask many questions and find out what you can do to improve yourself.

Singapore is a bustling hub to many fields of work, and is increasingly also home to fashion and a thriving industry. Modeling is today a competitive and lucrative line of work. Hence, do your homework and be passionate to make a name for yourself and scouters will naturally find you.

Create Talents and Models – Legit Agency or Not?

Are you concerned about Create Talents and Models being a legit agency or not? This review from model Nazli may help you decide better.

Check out our gorgeous and sweet looking teen model Nazli G! She is truly beautiful and one of our top models who efficiently juggles her studies with her passion for modeling. Find out what she has to say!

Hi! Please introduce yourself to us!
Hi, I am Nazli, I am 19 this year, I’m studying at Laselle, and my hobby is to draw.

How did you get to know about Create Talents?
I was scouted a few times a few years back, but I never took the opportunity the first few times. Because I wasn’t interested in it, but there was one time when I was scouted and my Dad was there and he really encouraged me to go. So when I went to join this company, I learnt that actually I really enjoy it.

Why have you decided to join Create Talents as a model?
Yeah, I just wanted to try it because I felt like it was a good opportunity, and I didn’t have much to lose anyway.

What was the memorable job you did?
My first time doing an event job was for a jewelry company, and it was a Christmas event that lasted about four days, where they’ll give me this huge ball gown kind of dress, and there was another girl with me, and we were both quite tall and we were wearing heels and going around Vivo City asking people to take photos with us because there was some kind of contest going on and there was a lot of comments on our heights, and a lot of stares so yeah, I think that’s what I remember the most out of all the events that I’ve done.

How has joining Create Talents as a model benefitted you?
I did get more confident over the years, because of the people I met through the jobs, the really confident girls, and their confidence rubbed off on me. When I first joined the company, I told myself I would never do video shoots and photo shoots and I’ll just stick to events, but recently I did a video shoot, so I’m quite proud of myself that I did it even though I told myself I was never going to.

Do you receive regular casting calls?
Yes, I receive a few once every few weeks.

Any upcoming projects you will be featured in?
I’ll be in a Bridal event in a couple of days.

Does being a Create Talents model affect your work /studies?
No, because when they call me for castings and jobs they do not force me, to go for it when I can’t.

Did you initially think we were a scam?
Yes, but I do receive regular casting calls and job offers, so that changed my mind about it because I am getting jobs, I am getting paid, it’s not a scam.

Would you recommend potential models to join Create Talents?
My friend, he was scouted by the company and when he came down to speak to the people here, they showed him sample photos of existing models and he saw one of me so he asked me like if he should join the company and I told him that he should.

Create Talents Models Review- Zad K

Here, we have Zak talking about Create Talents and Models Review and many more.Create Talents Pte Ltd is the ultimate place to get all updates about fashion and modelling industry.
Check out the video for modelling tips and what he feels about the industry. Did he say ‘is this industry for everyone or just hunks?’ Find out now. Watch the video here- youtube.com/CreateTalentsChannel

Student and film enthusiast Zak shares with us his journey at Create Talents and how it has improved his identity as a person. He now wishes to do bigger projects with us in the future. Find out how he clicks with modeling.

Hi Zak, please introduce yourself for us.
Hi, I am Zak. My hobbies are Swimming and Film. I’m currently a student.

How did you get to know about Create Talents?
I was going home one day on the MRT, and I encountered someone who was handing out name cards for Create Talents and so I decided that I would give it a go. It turns out pretty well.

Can you share your experiences as a Model?
I had photo shoots with Zurich and Philips, and I was also a background extra for a film for Cathay and I’ve also had 5 years worth of experience in Hong Kong.

Why do you like Modeling?
I’d say it’s kind of for the dressing up part, and becoming someone else, that’s fun. Since I have to put myself into someone else’s shoes for a day and that’s kind of a different thing.

What was the most memorable job you did?
It would probably be the Zurich ad. For that, I was dressed up as a nerd, and that kind of changed my self-image, and I thought I was quite funny the way I looked. The crew there was also pretty cool, so that was kind of made an impression. Another memorable experience would be when I was in Hong Kong, I was put in some sort of Bungee system, and I was holding a tennis racket and I had to do a TV advert where I was swinging around the racket and stuff. That was a lot of fun from what I remembered, but I ate too much the day before, they had to cut shooting a bit early so that was quite fun.

How had modeling benefitted you?
I’d say that my self-esteem has gone up a bit since I’m able to call myself a model, and that’s like kind of “Ooooh, look he’s a model.” The thing makes him kind of cool, and so I thought that’s pretty neat.

Any modeling tips you want to share?
I’d say just be on time for shoots since it would leave a bad impression and it would hold up the rest of the crew. Another tip would be to make sure that you follow the dress code well, but still be comfortable in what you’re wearing because one or two times I wore some clothes that weren’t comfortable for me and that really made the experience quite negative.

If you were not a model, what job would you be doing?
I’ve considered being a director or an editor for films since I usually watch a lot of those and I also enjoy making or being part of them. Modeling kind of ties into that.

What have we done that made the biggest difference to you?
The biggest difference would be when I had my hair dyed black, for a housing ad, and I had a bit of fun when I came home that night and surprised my family with different hair.

Are you satisfied with the projects that we have done?
I’ve had a bit of experience here but I’d want to be able to do more things in the future, or bigger things hopefully.

Anything else to add?
I’m happy with the company overall, but I’d want to be able to do more jobs in the future, just for more public exposure, or to have my friends say. Hey is that you in the advertisement over there?” So I haven’t had that happen yet, so that would be really cool if it did.

Create Talents and Models: legit agency or not? Listen from Justin Dad

Oops. I was scouted by Create Talents yet again. Is it a legit agency? Is Create Talents and Models scam? Should I go for interview or get a portfolio?

These are the things comes to one's mind, after being approached for a modeling job. Check out the Create Talents and Models review here to clear all your doubts.

Justin: Hi, my name is Justin.

We will invite Justin's dad to answer a few questions?

Hi my name is Daniel, i am Justin's dad.

How Did you Get to Know Us?

When Justin was young. I found that he has this talent to make people happy. So... I went online to search for modelling materials/agency and i managed to come across Create Talents. And so I came over. With a brief consultation with that consultant, they convinced me that, yes they can develop Justin to who he can become. And yup, i gave it a shot. So, he has, well, progress pretty fair well. I guess.

Can you Share with us his Experiences as a Model?

The first one is definitely this, Yamaha Print Ad.

And... followed by this, Saving Gaia. Where he gets to play with the Ah Boys To Man.And most notably, is this, SG50 Mediacorp Pan-kiss.

Ya, National Day, 一子在播 Then he been giving pan-kiss to everyone on screen. And, also NTUC. Ya, NTUC Print-ad.

And Tv Commercial. *Look at Justin* Still remember that one?

NTUC Print-ad. You eat the very big chicken. Yes. Ya, and many other more miscellaneous ones. Ya, so, when he's experience with modeling and all these Print-ad and Tv Commercial he's involved. Mediacorp discovered him, got ourselves for an audition. And we went. And we were lucky enough that Medicorp decides to engage him as one of their

Child artist. For the Drama series. So, with that opportunity from Create Talents. It manage to link us into Mediacorp. And right now, he is participating much in this Mediacorp Drama. Eh, eh, Justin, 真的吗?(really?) 真的吗?(really?)

And so, one of the notable recent performance he did was Mediacorp got him to perfom infront of a 3000 strong audience in 歌台Challenge (Singapore's Singing Contest) Yup so one of this very major experience for him He gets to stand in front of 3000 live audience. Performing on stage.

What do you think of Justin's overall performance?

Great, great. As his father i think he perform extremely well. Right? Yes.真的吗?(Really?)真的吗?(Really?)

Yes, I personally do think he exceed expectation.Even of mine expectation. Which i am really proud of. And of course, with this Create Talents guidance right.Create Talents often tell me What are the expectation of this... of their clients. What is expected. How to fit in the picture. And with that in mind right, it also does help how i can get Justin to perform what is required of him.

Do you think that we were a Scam?

I didn't really think about whether is a scam or not. I felt that he is growing up I had, i felt, urgent to do something for him. Especially in Singapore's fast economy. And his ability to bring happiness, laughter to people. So i thought that i want to do something for You right? Justin?

Justin: Hm?

Daniel: Right?

Right? Yes, so, I came here and, went to the jobs. I did my best to convince the producers, narrators and their clients to why they have to choose Justin. Why is Justin the one for them to choose. I think in many cases right, we as model right, modelling right. We are part of a big picture. We have to be able to value add the production. and convinced why we are able to value add the production. Rather than, thinking that we look good. We have experience.

And, we should be selected. And, we shouldn't have this kind of sense of entitlement.Or rather, we should go down thinking how we should value add the production. Why producer should choose us. How we are going to Value add their client, production. Because there is time-line involved. There is budget involved. Yup, so, i believe in this theory. How do we make people richer and happier. And therefore, through that, i guess, We managed to convince production of why he be chosen. So, whether is a scam or not. Just look at a very surface pespective. If the bosses don't like you, 在帅在美下去也是没用的。 (How pretty or handsome you are it will also be useless) So, in most cases, yes, the first 条件, the first condition, is you have to look good. You have to have a charisma and confident. And second condition, we need to be able to Relate with what the client wants. And what the production wants. And how are we part of this big production. In many many cases.

Lastly, Is there anything you want to say?

Justin is there anything you want to say? Thank You Create Talents For Bringing Me This Far.

Bye bye! *Pan-Kiss* YES!
