Create Talents Review – Ali Khan A

Check out our senior model Ali Khan A's Create Talents And Models review to help you make informed decisions.
Hi, could you tell us more about yourself?

Hi, hello, this is Ahmed Ali Khan here. I go by the screen name of Ali Khan A. I am 57 years old and I have been a stage and TV actor since 1990. Besides watching TV and acting, I am also an author. Till date, I’ve published four books.

How did you get to know about Create Talents and Models?

I was actually going into this website called ‘online castings’ and I saw a call for an audition. So I actually applied for that, so that’s how I got to know Create Talents.

Did you think Create Talents was a scam?

Hint of a scam? No No No. I actually came here personally and I met the people here, so I mean it’s impressive.  You look at all those photographs, the models and all that. I don’t think it’s a scam. Well, I am here and you can see me here.

What do you like about being a model?

It’s my past time? No, it’s in me. Of course, it’s in me. Hey acting man, I love acting. So why shouldn’t I, you know actually express myself? I like expressing myself, that’s what I like.

How has modeling benefitted you?

Well, acting involves a lot of things, emotion, character, a lot of things. I mean you can think of it because it affects your daily life. So I can express myself better. If I were to do the same thing outside, shouting, crying, and making fun of other people; the police is going to arrest me. So you know on stage or you know on TV, I can do what I like, that’s the best thing of it.

How have your views changed since you joined us?

I should say I have been here only for a few months, but of course, I have gotten one project, and it’s a TV commercial. Actually, I enjoy doing all this you see.

How has it changed your life?

I wouldn’t say that it has changed much, but I wish that Create Talents will change my life, even better or you know much more.

What are your experiences with Create Talents?

Okay, I just did one project and that’s for Father’s day, it’s a TV commercial. I am sure you must have seen it. You know just about three or four weeks before Father’s day, they started to show on TV. So it’s an experience, of course. You know every acting that I go to or every project that I took part in is an experience. So in this case, I got to meet new talents, younger ones; you know I have already reached that stage. But the best thing is you get to meet people, and you learn from them at the same time.

What is your advice to anyone who wants to join Create Talents & Models?

Well, my advice is go for it, when Create Talents calls you or you know they SMS you, go for it. Whether you get it or you don’t get it, just go for it. Because every time you go for an audition, and if you fail, it actually makes you stronger and better. Yeah, that’s what I have learnt.

What makes you feel at ease about working with us?

I am in liberty right or not. If I am not free, I can always tell them I am not able to take up the job. So they’re actually not forcing you right or not? They will give you the time and date, you go for the audition. Like I said, if you fail, don’t worry. So the best thing is that you are at liberty. If you have other jobs then you can tell them, I am not free so it’s your choice, don’t worry.

Who would you like to thank?

Yeah, of course, you know you have to thank the people. Okay, if you see me on screen it’s me alone, but behind me, behind the scenes, there are a lot of people who are doing a lot of jobs, so I got to thank them, the people at Create Talents.

Create Talents and Models – Legit Agency or Not?

Are you concerned about Create Talents and Models being a legit agency or not? This review from model Nazli may help you decide better.

Check out our gorgeous and sweet looking teen model Nazli G! She is truly beautiful and one of our top models who efficiently juggles her studies with her passion for modeling. Find out what she has to say!

Hi! Please introduce yourself to us!
Hi, I am Nazli, I am 19 this year, I’m studying at Laselle, and my hobby is to draw.

How did you get to know about Create Talents?
I was scouted a few times a few years back, but I never took the opportunity the first few times. Because I wasn’t interested in it, but there was one time when I was scouted and my Dad was there and he really encouraged me to go. So when I went to join this company, I learnt that actually I really enjoy it.

Why have you decided to join Create Talents as a model?
Yeah, I just wanted to try it because I felt like it was a good opportunity, and I didn’t have much to lose anyway.

What was the memorable job you did?
My first time doing an event job was for a jewelry company, and it was a Christmas event that lasted about four days, where they’ll give me this huge ball gown kind of dress, and there was another girl with me, and we were both quite tall and we were wearing heels and going around Vivo City asking people to take photos with us because there was some kind of contest going on and there was a lot of comments on our heights, and a lot of stares so yeah, I think that’s what I remember the most out of all the events that I’ve done.

How has joining Create Talents as a model benefitted you?
I did get more confident over the years, because of the people I met through the jobs, the really confident girls, and their confidence rubbed off on me. When I first joined the company, I told myself I would never do video shoots and photo shoots and I’ll just stick to events, but recently I did a video shoot, so I’m quite proud of myself that I did it even though I told myself I was never going to.

Do you receive regular casting calls?
Yes, I receive a few once every few weeks.

Any upcoming projects you will be featured in?
I’ll be in a Bridal event in a couple of days.

Does being a Create Talents model affect your work /studies?
No, because when they call me for castings and jobs they do not force me, to go for it when I can’t.

Did you initially think we were a scam?
Yes, but I do receive regular casting calls and job offers, so that changed my mind about it because I am getting jobs, I am getting paid, it’s not a scam.

Would you recommend potential models to join Create Talents?
My friend, he was scouted by the company and when he came down to speak to the people here, they showed him sample photos of existing models and he saw one of me so he asked me like if he should join the company and I told him that he should.

How to Choose the Best Modelling Agencies in Singapore?

Modelling is like an investment for both models and modelling agencies Singapore. Agencies put their effort to find the best candidate, while you need to be smart enough to choose the best talent agency.

Modelling is a pretty big domain for models, bookers or modelling agencies! It takes a lot of patience, commitment, and dedication to become a successful model, meanwhile the talent agencies have to find the best candidate to train in and out of glamour world.

Success doesn't happen overnight! You become successful if you pick the right and legitimate modelling agency.

Singapore is one such country to have lot of scope for modelling! But again, there are many modelling agencies out there. So, how do you choose the legitimate agency? This post is the ultimate guide for your queries. The hot hubs for modelling in Singapore include Orchard, Bugis, Raffles Place, Lor Limau, etc.

Model Portfolio

Portfolios are very much essential as it attributes a strong foundation. It has to be created under a professional management or agency support.
If you're considering different pictures or amazing clicks, then consider outdoor photo-shoot, but remember it comes at hefty charges. (Take up only if you're ready for bigger investment). Singapore is world's most expensive country and it holds true for modelling niche too.

Personality

One of the biggest myths in the modelling agency is that 'a model has to be tall and fair'. If you want to join for some runways, then event organizers could ask for specific heights. But, if it's a video or some random ad shoot, then it isn't mandatory to be tall. The current trend of 'unfair & lovely' is taking the beauty niche by storm. A height of 5'9" works well for girls, but don't forget about Devon Aoki, who is one of the world's top supermodels, despite being just 5'5" inch tall. The whole point here is that if you think you're good enough to be a model, then do not take 'height' as a main constraint. Try your good luck!

Casting

Modelling castings are not to be taken lightly! Professional castings do not take place in night club or by web cam. If you get any call to do a shoot or show, get all details and do your research about the firm before giving a head-ups. Check their whereabouts and the professional casting usually happens in their registered office or work place.

Details to Check about Talent Agency

The best possible way to check is to go through the online reviews. You should be smart enough to differentiate the reviews written by real customers and fake 'model agency competitors'. Then again, if the agency has no permanent location or no license or works only online via web cam or social media, you need to be cautious. The best advice would be to get their phone number, as you can ask questions, clear your queries directly from them, not through any third-party or forums.

Also, find out about business registration number, Pte Ltd licence, recent projects, and model feedbacks or testimonials.

Fake competitions and reviews could be glossy or convincing, but do remember that Top Models are chosen by professionals, not by general public.

In a Nutshell

Legitimate talent or modelling agencies make a profit out of commission and it is your duty to check all details before signing any contract with them. Some agencies cut some percentage from model's earnings, while some pay for the cards. Neither is wrong nor right, as every agency works differently.

It's best to talk to them in person, so that it makes a clear cut conversation- No Hassle, No Regret. Genuine modelling agencies Singapore don't mind answering the queries of the customers. You should know the chain of command and how modelling agencies work, if you want to become a model or manage your modelling career peacefully.

Create Talents and Models Review

Create Talents and Models review has always been predominantly negative. The negativity stems from the misunderstandings of how Create Talents and also the industry work. Common misconceptions include people thinking that Create Talents is a scam, because they have to pay for their portfolio. They have drilled in themselves that if an agency requires payment, then it is not a legitimate agency. But what they don’t know is that, this is after all, a business. One needs to invest, before they can be successful. The only way one does not need to pay for a portfolio, would be to already be successful, well-known and have enough modeling projects in hand.

To prove wrong the way people think, modelling agencies Singapore have been putting up testimonials, video and written alike. These testimonials come from models that have joined with the model agency Singapore, and many actually have something positive to say about the whole endeavor. Many of the models have received and done projects/jobs, and almost all have received at least one casting opportunity.

Create Talents Models Review Ethan K says, “I did quite a number of outfits for the portfolio with the agency and have been receiving numerous ad assignments from the agency since then as fatherly-corporate characters.” Elly says, “Last year December 2009 came the turning point of my life when my Booker asked me down to update my portfolio with my new look and since then I started to receive more jobs regularly too! It was such a surprise and I was glad that I gave myself the opportunity to be part of the agency.” Patrick T says, “Contrast to popular belief of unaccountable modeling agencies, Create Talents has been following up on me with multiple audition calls and offers.” These in fact, are just the tip of the iceberg.

Plenty more similar positive Create Talents Pte Ltd review exist on the website, on Google reviews, and also a website titled, http://www.createtalentsscam.net/. There are numerous modeling agencies in our little island, and many a times, Create Talents cannot compete with the lies of the competition spews. All that any modelling agency can do is to continue being true to themselves, and putting up testimonials to sway the public, and providing jobs for models who have already joined, among the other things they do. Nevertheless, honesty is the best policy, and the truth is not all models get assignments regularly. Effort is always put in, finding the right models for clients, and the right jobs for models, but, to simply put it, if clients do not want red, and you just happen to be red, then you might feel like the modeling dream is a lie, and Create Talents is not true to their word.

With that said, the higher possibility is getting assignments compared to not getting. Create Talents has always been providing models for different clients and different projects. The old, the young, the tall, the short, the gorgeous, and the ordinary, all are welcome in Create Talents and Models. Understanding the way the modeling industry works, is essential to accurately judge an agency for its proficiency and credibility. To all aspiring models, if you possess the right work ethics, as anyone should have, a good attitude, and passion/interest, regardless of looks and size, you should definitely check out Create Talents, their website, and the works their models have done, and make a decision by looking at both sides of the coin.

Student and film enthusiast Zak shares with us his journey at Create Talents and how it has improved his identity as a person. He now wishes to do bigger projects with us in the future. Find out how he clicks with modeling.

Hi Zak, please introduce yourself for us.
Hi, I am Zak. My hobbies are Swimming and Film. I’m currently a student.

How did you get to know about Create Talents?
I was going home one day on the MRT, and I encountered someone who was handing out name cards for Create Talents and so I decided that I would give it a go. It turns out pretty well.

Can you share your experiences as a Model?
I had photo shoots with Zurich and Philips, and I was also a background extra for a film for Cathay and I’ve also had 5 years worth of experience in Hong Kong.

Why do you like Modeling?
I’d say it’s kind of for the dressing up part, and becoming someone else, that’s fun. Since I have to put myself into someone else’s shoes for a day and that’s kind of a different thing.

What was the most memorable job you did?
It would probably be the Zurich ad. For that, I was dressed up as a nerd, and that kind of changed my self-image, and I thought I was quite funny the way I looked. The crew there was also pretty cool, so that was kind of made an impression. Another memorable experience would be when I was in Hong Kong, I was put in some sort of Bungee system, and I was holding a tennis racket and I had to do a TV advert where I was swinging around the racket and stuff. That was a lot of fun from what I remembered, but I ate too much the day before, they had to cut shooting a bit early so that was quite fun.

How had modeling benefitted you?
I’d say that my self-esteem has gone up a bit since I’m able to call myself a model, and that’s like kind of “Ooooh, look he’s a model.” The thing makes him kind of cool, and so I thought that’s pretty neat.

Any modeling tips you want to share?
I’d say just be on time for shoots since it would leave a bad impression and it would hold up the rest of the crew. Another tip would be to make sure that you follow the dress code well, but still be comfortable in what you’re wearing because one or two times I wore some clothes that weren’t comfortable for me and that really made the experience quite negative.

If you were not a model, what job would you be doing?
I’ve considered being a director or an editor for films since I usually watch a lot of those and I also enjoy making or being part of them. Modeling kind of ties into that.

What have we done that made the biggest difference to you?
The biggest difference would be when I had my hair dyed black, for a housing ad, and I had a bit of fun when I came home that night and surprised my family with different hair.

Are you satisfied with the projects that we have done?
I’ve had a bit of experience here but I’d want to be able to do more things in the future, or bigger things hopefully.

Anything else to add?
I’m happy with the company overall, but I’d want to be able to do more jobs in the future, just for more public exposure, or to have my friends say. Hey is that you in the advertisement over there?” So I haven’t had that happen yet, so that would be really cool if it did.

Create Talents and Models: legit agency or not? Listen from Justin Dad

Oops. I was scouted by Create Talents yet again. Is it a legit agency? Is Create Talents and Models scam? Should I go for interview or get a portfolio?

These are the things comes to one's mind, after being approached for a modeling job. Check out the Create Talents and Models review here to clear all your doubts.

Justin: Hi, my name is Justin.

We will invite Justin's dad to answer a few questions?

Hi my name is Daniel, i am Justin's dad.

How Did you Get to Know Us?

When Justin was young. I found that he has this talent to make people happy. So... I went online to search for modelling materials/agency and i managed to come across Create Talents. And so I came over. With a brief consultation with that consultant, they convinced me that, yes they can develop Justin to who he can become. And yup, i gave it a shot. So, he has, well, progress pretty fair well. I guess.

Can you Share with us his Experiences as a Model?

The first one is definitely this, Yamaha Print Ad.

And... followed by this, Saving Gaia. Where he gets to play with the Ah Boys To Man.And most notably, is this, SG50 Mediacorp Pan-kiss.

Ya, National Day, 一子在播 Then he been giving pan-kiss to everyone on screen. And, also NTUC. Ya, NTUC Print-ad.

And Tv Commercial. *Look at Justin* Still remember that one?

NTUC Print-ad. You eat the very big chicken. Yes. Ya, and many other more miscellaneous ones. Ya, so, when he's experience with modeling and all these Print-ad and Tv Commercial he's involved. Mediacorp discovered him, got ourselves for an audition. And we went. And we were lucky enough that Medicorp decides to engage him as one of their

Child artist. For the Drama series. So, with that opportunity from Create Talents. It manage to link us into Mediacorp. And right now, he is participating much in this Mediacorp Drama. Eh, eh, Justin, 真的吗?(really?) 真的吗?(really?)

And so, one of the notable recent performance he did was Mediacorp got him to perfom infront of a 3000 strong audience in 歌台Challenge (Singapore's Singing Contest) Yup so one of this very major experience for him He gets to stand in front of 3000 live audience. Performing on stage.

What do you think of Justin's overall performance?

Great, great. As his father i think he perform extremely well. Right? Yes.真的吗?(Really?)真的吗?(Really?)

Yes, I personally do think he exceed expectation.Even of mine expectation. Which i am really proud of. And of course, with this Create Talents guidance right.Create Talents often tell me What are the expectation of this... of their clients. What is expected. How to fit in the picture. And with that in mind right, it also does help how i can get Justin to perform what is required of him.

Do you think that we were a Scam?

I didn't really think about whether is a scam or not. I felt that he is growing up I had, i felt, urgent to do something for him. Especially in Singapore's fast economy. And his ability to bring happiness, laughter to people. So i thought that i want to do something for You right? Justin?

Justin: Hm?

Daniel: Right?

Right? Yes, so, I came here and, went to the jobs. I did my best to convince the producers, narrators and their clients to why they have to choose Justin. Why is Justin the one for them to choose. I think in many cases right, we as model right, modelling right. We are part of a big picture. We have to be able to value add the production. and convinced why we are able to value add the production. Rather than, thinking that we look good. We have experience.

And, we should be selected. And, we shouldn't have this kind of sense of entitlement.Or rather, we should go down thinking how we should value add the production. Why producer should choose us. How we are going to Value add their client, production. Because there is time-line involved. There is budget involved. Yup, so, i believe in this theory. How do we make people richer and happier. And therefore, through that, i guess, We managed to convince production of why he be chosen. So, whether is a scam or not. Just look at a very surface pespective. If the bosses don't like you, 在帅在美下去也是没用的。 (How pretty or handsome you are it will also be useless) So, in most cases, yes, the first 条件, the first condition, is you have to look good. You have to have a charisma and confident. And second condition, we need to be able to Relate with what the client wants. And what the production wants. And how are we part of this big production. In many many cases.

Lastly, Is there anything you want to say?

Justin is there anything you want to say? Thank You Create Talents For Bringing Me This Far.

Bye bye! *Pan-Kiss* YES!
